Subject: 33rd. Annual Fishing Tournament – Cancellation
Dear Members and Guests:
As you are aware, the Committee had attempted to save the Fishing Tournament for 2010 by rescheduling our Tournament to September. Unfortunately, things haven’t changed since this unbelievable event and after many days it has become obvious that it would be best to cancel for 2010 and try again next year.
Saying this, reservations have been made for the 33rd. Annual Fishing Tournament in 2011 at the Sanddollar Marina for June 3rd. and 4th. We assume that things next year will be back in shape. We will need to play it by ear and monitor the conditions to make sure all will be in place for a successful tournament. We recommend that you check the website for updates and future notices. www.noeaft.com
At this time, we would like to remind everyone to cancel any reservation that you may have made for 2010 with hotel reservations, camp rental and charter boats. In addition, any monies that we received for Sponsor Fees, Registrations and Shirt Purchases for 2010 will be credited towards 2011. We will monitor this closely so that duplication of payments doesn’t occur.
The Committee appreciates your support concerning this decision. We hope to see you in 2011 at Grand Isle.
